By ticking to confirm “I am a UK taxpayer and want to Gift Aid this donation”, I am agreeing that any donations I make during this transaction, including each monthly donation as part of a subscription, are treated as Gift Aid donations until the charity is notified otherwise. By adding Gift Aid to your donation, the SEA LIFE TRUST Cornish Seal Sanctuary can claim 25% from HMRC at no extra cost to you. I understand that by making a Gift Aid declaration and opting in, I am agreeing that I am a UK tax payer and understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax in the current tax year than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations across all charities, it is my responsibility to pay any difference.
I understand that If I pay Income Tax at the higher or additional rate and I want to receive the additional tax relief due to me, I must include all the Gift Aid donations on my self-assessment tax return or ask HM Revenue and Customs to adjust my tax code. Please notify SEA LIFE TRUST Cornish Seal Sanctuary if you wish to cancel this declaration, change your name or home address or no longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains.
