Adopt Alma

Alma was rescued by the Beluga Whale Sanctuary in 2020, after suff­ering an eye injury from flying into a building resulting in the loss of sight in her right eye.

This loss of sight prevents her from being able to be released back into the wild as puffi­ns need good depth perception for balance and for catching their fish. Alma loves to climb rocks and wait patiently for her fish to be delivered straight to her beak, even tilting her head to one side to get a better look at the fish!

Alma now resides at the Cornish Seal Sanctuary with our other rescued puffins.
